So a while back my gelding Sunny was diagnosed with Sidebone. The vet explained what it was and that his was a very mild case. So mild in fact, that the vet wasn't sure that was the reason he was having lameness issues at the time. He gave him injections in both front feet and that has been a year and a half ago now. He hasn't had any problems since the original diagnosis except that he wears down the outside wall of his left front hoof faster than any of the others.
I am curious to know if anyone else has had any experience with a horse that had sidebone. Was it mild or severe? Did it get worse with age? How did it effect the horse? Ect.
