Horse Aupair / Groom / Stable Hand in the UK

We are looking for a new Horse Aupair starting the 1st of September 2014 in our very small stud in southwest England. We started the stud last year and are approximately looking after 12 horses. Youngstock, Broodmares and Ridinghorses- all Hanovarians. Daily Routine is Feeding horses at 7 am, mucking out and poo picking from fields alongside a groom. Then riding and lunging horses for approx 2.5 hours. You will need to be a very good dressage rider with competition experience as you will ride some youngsters as well and we will send you to compete if you want to. You will get lessons by a grand prix rider who will help you with training. You are allowed to bring your own horse.
At 4pm last round for 1 hour and then we send you off to language school twice weekly if you do this job to learn english. You have the usage of a car after 5 pm- but you will need a driving licence. You are staying in a 2 bedroom flat above the stables and food is paid for you.
In the big house we have a full time cleaner and a full time nanny but we will need you to babysit very occasionally. 2 kids 2 and 3 years old.
Minimum stay is 6 month and you need to be a very good rider with a driving licence!! Check out ST GILES STUDHome - ST GILES STUD and shaftesburyestates.com
If you don't want to be an aupair but a fully employed groom we are happy to discuss this as well and we offer good rates of pay.
