Horse Jobs Out There!

Hi!

I am getting to the stage in life where I want to know what I want my career to be. I want it to be focused on animals, and more specifically horses(or dogs). If it wouldn't be too much trouble could you please list some jobs that include working with horses or some links to websites that include info about some horsey jobs. Also, if there are some doggie people out there could you do the same for dogs? Thanks sooo much!

I would say only experience... I know some girl that went to Olds College got a summer job with Ian Miller being his groom :) Start out doing braiding and after you get some clientel then you can move up to a groom.

Hmm not sure what you guys call them.

A Strapper here is like a racehorse groom.

They help trainers etc with care of horses at the track. Leading them in the mounting yard grooming anything needed.
