Looking for a horse job in New Jersey

Hi everyone,

I've been out of work for some time now and am interested in working with horses. A friend has two horses that I've been around but, I don't have much experience, just helping out with cleaning their stalls, the pasture and feeding them once and a while.

Hi Thunder1...welcome to the forum!

Have you tried looking on Craigs list? Sometimes when I browse the Farm category I see ads looking for farm help. Usually it's in exchange for boarding a horse or part time but it is a place to start.

Another idea would be to go and look at the bulletin boards at feed stores. Lots of people use those to sell horses, offer boarding and look for farm help.

Good luck to you in your search!
