Looking for a summer job!

Hi, I'm 15 years old and I would really like a job this summer to help out with the farrier bills for my horses. I also would like to get more experience by working with more horses. I absolutely love all kinds of animals and I currently own/take care of 3 miniature horses and a big horse. I also have some other barnyard animals. I love taking care of animals and I would love to help out at your barn if you don't have the time or if you just need the help. I would love to exercise, feed, water, turn out, bring in, groom, anything basically, that has to do with horses. Please write back if you're interested in hiring me or send me a message. Thanks!

Hi, gaminggirl22! I don't know where you're located, but can suggest that if there's not anyone on the forum in your area that could hire you this summer you should begin with your local boarding stables/farms/etc... Look in the phonebook for stable #'s and make contact, go to your local feed/farm supply stores and check out the bulletin boards for starters - also, maybe call your local vet's office for suggestions as well as asking your farrier if he knows of a stable/barn owner that's on his route and take it from there!
