Looking towards the future

This may not be the right thread but oh well. Im just trying to organize my plans..

So I have 3 years left on my contract (my ets is 22 Feb 2015) and im not really sure what to do. Im contemplating reenlisting for Airforce reserves, which would be a HUGE change from army to airforce and active to reserve but it would work great so I could FINALLY go to school full time and I would still be getting a paycheck plus I would still technically be military so I could go active again if I wanted. I have nothing against the army I love it but im just tired of the way the army works, all the branches are differant and originallly Airforce was what I was going for....before I talked to my recruiter....so I figure, ill still be military, but itll be something new and hopefully as good or better.

Right now im signed up for my freshman courses(finally after 10 months of arguing about having or not having TA, and not going to a "military school" vs a civilian school, and grrrr but its over im ready finally)

I know that for a fact after either my deros((march 11 2014 if I reenlist) I would be leaving hawaii and going home to NM and TX) or my ets im going to go to West Texas A&M for a major in Equine Business and management and Range management.

Eventually my parents and I are going to get in a partnership for a cattle/QH ranch in either southern NM, TX or AZ its just the journey to get there....its no pipe dream we have our plans, a good start on the funds and we know where we want to take it.

I just gotta live through three (potentially 2) more years on this rock.

Sigh....so much to do.....

Sounds like something to look forward too though......I thought I had my future in my sights until my guy got his current job that keeps us on our toes at all times.....at this point our living location depends on where ever his job site is......thankfully the last 8 months and the next 4 will be within an hour to two hour drive from where we actually live I am not looking forward to relocating away from my family and everything I have ever known. Having horses and dreams of my own make it no easier :/

Good luck to you, I hope everything turns out the way it is meant to.
