Mounted police - scotland??

I have recently applied for the job of groom at Strathclyde Mounted Branch in Stewarton, Ayrshire.

I was wondering if anyone else has or know of anyone who has and if they have heard anything back from them yet?

I emailed my application and although it has only been a week Im starting to get paranoid about whether I sent it correctly.

If anyone has any information on this it would be much appreciated!!

Hi Rob, and welcome to the forum! I don't live in Scotland, but I have worked as a groom for two different large horse stables here in the US. My suggestion is to go directly to the stable and introduce yourself in person telling them you are following up on your on-line application - very likely with a position such as that, they would rather meet you in person to see your abilities with the horses. Best of luck :)

Rob, I would just wait another week or two, then phone them up and ask for confirmation that they indeed have your application.

Outside of that, bugging them isn't going to accomplish anything positive so you'll just have to be patient.
