    My new horse job!(:

    Hey yall,

    Well I have just gotten a new horse job, my first day was yesterday. I work at a veterinary clinic cleaning the barn for the horses that come in for stall rest or foaling/breeding. I get to see/pet all the babies! (: It's really hard work though, I have to clean 50 stalls a day... twice! And clean the water buckets. Im sore and achy from my first day but at least its better than working retail. My question is... is there a chance I can move up in this facility? And what positions could be possible at a vet clinic for someone that's not certified?

    I'm sure there are people on the forum that actually work at a vet clinic who could inform you about advancement

    If I were your employer, I would notice how you work, and how good a job you do. I would notice if you were cheerful, if you didn't complain, if you looked for ways to improve the animals' welfare, and how you got along with the other employees. I would notice if you took pride in your work. An employee that showed me all of these things would stick out in my mind when a promotion opportunity came along
