I just moved down to Panama City, Fl and thought I'd introduce myself and what I'm interested in.
I'm an equine massage therapist who also has experience in horse handling. I'm hoping to find work at a stable even if it's for free or a possible part/full-time position in the future. I ride primarily western but can also ride english. I have experience training both young and older horses using natural horsemanship and have audited and ridden in a handful of clinics. I would like to broaden my knowledge and am very quick to learn on the job. I can handle anything you throw at me, the more the better. I prefer to work directly with horses but with every horse there is a stall to muck which I have no problem doing. I can get dirty like the best of them and don't mind hard work.
I have mostly worked for free with horses, other then my equine massage business. Most of what I have done training wise has been for my own pleasure and knowledge or for friends and acquaintances. I have audited both a Buck Brannaman and Buster McLaury clinics and have ridden in Mr. McLaury's horsemanship, and cattle working clinics.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
