Thumbs up Relive the old west in Guyana

Hi there,

What is unique about this experience is that in remote Guyana the Guyana's still traditional live there life as if it was the 1800's and it gives you the opportunity to travel back in time and experience "the old west"

Unlike in many other South America Countries the ranches of the rupununi have not been cut out of the Amazon Rainforest but instead are located in a natural and beautiful tropical Savannah.

The Vaquero's of Guyana are at this moment at a turning point, they no longer can sell their meat to Brazil or the coastline of Guyana where 95% of the countries population lives. Their unique and traditional way of life is dissappearing and through these projects we hope to sustain this.

It is also a great place for seeing wildlife as for example Giant Ant eaters.
