Working Student Wanted - Central PA

A small farm located approximately 25 minutes from State College is looking for an experienced and motivated rider to help with exercising, training and general barn duties. We routinely have 2-3 horses in training for multiple disciplines at all levels as well as a few lesson horses that need routinely schooled as well. We focus primarily on Eventing, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper however we also start and train horses in Western events, Gaming and Trail as well as work on ground manners, trailer loading and behavioral problems. We are looking for someone with some experience working with and riding green horses who is responsible and has their own reliable transportation. Depending on qualifications and interests we are willing to offer riding time, lessons by a certified instructor, free showing opportunities and/or reduced board for one horse. We are flexible and willing to work around any schedule but are looking for at least a 3 day/10 hour commitment per week. Please check out our website for information on some of our current and past horses and riders and call or email for more information! Nittany Equestrian
