Then I wouldn't even wait until Sunday. I would go to the court house and file the charges against him. He must not have looked it over very well if he didn't see the "bulging tires" and broken spring. They sound like someone who wants things for free.

caveat emptor "buyer beware"
If not warrenty was given, no promises made, he examined the trailer and paid and drove off, he owns it. Nobody held a gun to his head. He looked, he bought. Its his.
Take him to court... The judge will make him pay court costs and whatever else when he loses.
