I sold a horse and agreed to take payments. They lady who bought him is a lawyer and lives in a different county. She wants the contract to read that any disputes be dealt with in her county courts while my attorney wants it to read that anything is to be dealt with in the county which I reside. Which is usual way of doing things? She and the horse are in one county and i am in another. thanks! any advice would be great asap, my attorney does horse stuff, but I want to know if anyone who has experience with this would know. Or what would YOU do?

Also, if she is a lawyer in that her county, she is more likely to know the clerks/judges/etc.

Definitely go with your home county. You don't want to have to wrack up travel costs (and bother with hiring an attorney in that county/paying extra for your own to travel there) if a dispute does arise.
