I Have a horse that I co owned with someone, I moved and left my ownership with him (WE were owed payments) Well I guess he stopped caring for the horse and the original owner has the horse. She wants to sell the horse back to me but says she says he has a sale contract she must honer (even though he didn't make 3 payments and left the horse at the boarding stable. The horse is reg and no transfer has been done to put the horse in his name. She said she has to wait till next week to start paper work so the court can work it out? What does that mean? Isn't it a breech of contract? What does she have to go to the court for? It wasn't even a notarized doc. I also heard in Nevada (where the horse is) all you need for proof of ownership is a brand inspection in your name? which she has and he does not. Sorry about the ramble but I am just wondering if all this is necessary it seems to me she has every right to sell the horse. oh yeah and so she says he has to sign a realese of ownership and the court would have to approve that too??? What is this lady talking about it seems she is making it way harder then it has to be
