Hello, I live in Iowa and own a boarding stable. We currently have a woman that helps with chores for board. She lives on our property now. Our problem is...when she started she had one horse and did chores for the board. She has since acquired 4 more horses. We neglected in the beginning to set up parameters and what is expected and how many horses she can keep at the barn.
We are looking at hiring a barn manager, leasing the place with the option to buy or sell the place in preparation of retirement.
The barn is incorporated, what do we need to do in order to set it up on a lease to own option? Is it easier to just hire a barn manager? If possible sell it outright???
I know this is very vague, but any suggestions would be appreciated.
