Heaven needs superheroes, too

This thread is written with a heavy heart, so please excuse any jumbled words.

Cupid was a true superhero if ever there was one.

At the young age of only 19 months Cupid already had nursing homes lined up for him to visit in the spring. He had been the star of several visits from various pre schools, Boy Scout troops, and church groups. He took everything in stride, whether it be swarms of kids surrounding him, walking through, under, and on playground equipment to put on a "show", or wearing embarrassing costumes. Cupid was a wopping 27 inches of perfection.

He made an impact on everyone he met. He showed more love to total strangers than I knew was possible, and he taught me a lot about life and myself.

I was blessed with the gift of being able to know him, even if that time was cut unjustly short. I guess the saying ring true though- only the good die young.

RIP Cupid, until we meet again.

I'm sorry for your loss. If your picture is of Cupid, he made me smile, he is precious.

horses shouldn't be allowed to cross the bridge that young. RIP Cupid.

Equestrianism; 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain and 100% reason to remember you're absolutely insane to be riding a beast that big.

As good as I can be I guess. Still heartbroken.
I ordered a memorial stone and a tail hair bracelet in his honor and his halter is hanging above my bed. It's helpful that I have his full sister as well. So here's to holding out hope that she can live up to the legacy he left.

Thank you for asking, it means a lot.
