A few years ago I rode at a stable,i always got bullied by the owners daughter but at times I diddnt mind because of this one horse that came...

Kerry (The owner),Bought an old horse called Jazz. She was black and white with curly fur,but she had a medical condition..(to be honest I thought it was cruel to by an old horse for people to ride) but anyways...

I rode her all the time in my lesson, she was slow but I diddnt mind much, she would stop at jumps then step over them, but she was a great horse..and if you tickled under her stomach she would whinny! Haha :)

Well at the stables they had this thing called 'adopting a horse' I was adopting a different horse but this girl called Haley was adopting jazz...

Well one day through the week they asked Haley if she wanted to ride in a lesson with Jazz so she agreed.

Me and my old best friend Laurie were watching and everything was going pretty ok until she asked for canter...

Jazz fell over on her side very fast and suddenly...it felt as if it was a dream...i felt nothing for those few seconds...my heart had nearly stopped...

"Rachel!,Laurie! Get some help!" shouted the instructor.

Me and laurie ran and a stable helper (Sarah) was walking round..I shouted at her to help Jazz!

Me and Laurie and a girl in the lesson called Heather were at the bottom of the yard...

Me and Heather were crying our eyes out and Zara,Kerry's daughter,Said "STOP LAUGHING!!!"

I gasped...i wasnt laughing at all I was crying my eyes out for the horse I loved....i thought she died..

Me and another girl called Haley were in her car,Crying.

We saw the vet with a jag..we thought she was putting her down..i cried..

    But she diddnt...

    Well Jazz lived but...

A few weeks later she was found in the field lying down on her side...The vet said to Kerry that she should put her down...

And she did...I wasnt there to see her for the last time...but I still love her :(
