So this morning the chiro came out to fix Xander's back. She said that he probably slipped in the snow and it was a relatively quick fix, his pelvis was just a little wonky. So after three weeks of not riding I can start bringing him back into work tommorow! The chiro also does acupuncture and douses and 'reads' horses. So we had her do accupuncture on him because she said his muscles were really tight, and we have been having some anxiety issue with him. She said that she could sense that his tummy was yucky and needed some help. So she suggested giving him Bach's Rescue Remedy and aloe juice for 10 days then a break of 3 days and then for another 10 days. She also said that alfalfa is good for his stomach, so I think we are going to do soaked alfalfa cubes with the aloe and rescue remedy.. So my question is this: is alfalfa cubes usually appealing to horses? My guy is really picky... Also, anyone ever had experience with aloe or rescue remedy?
Thanks!
