Apple Cider Vinegar?

I was wondering what is it good for? I see some people saying it is good for joints etc. Do people use it and see results? I am sure my horse has joint problems as her knees crack and I was wondering would apple cider vinegar actually work. And also does it have any other benefits?

I am not too familiar with all of it's uses, but in the summer, my gelding had a pretty nasty bout of fungus on his leg. I was told by someone, to use apple cider vinigar, so I thought it was worth a shot. I would wash the leg then sponge on some diluted apple cider vinigar on the fungus daily and it totally dried it out and healed up in just over a week. It worked great for the fungus! I am interested to hear what else it can be used for...

I have not seen it help for joints, but I only buy the cheap ACV by the gallon. The unfiltered organic ACV is supposed to be the one best for joints, skin, coat, etc. I use the cheap ACV to encourage my horses to drink more water all year long, prevent some of the flies in the summer, and it seems to change the horse's PH in their skin/hooves lessening issues like rain rot and thursh. I feed 1/2 cup during the winter and 1 cup during fly season, mixed in with their feed.
