Cheap horse feeds tend to not be so cheap by the time you start adding a bunch of stuff the cheap feed is lacking. Your better feeds tend to already have things like biotin in them.

Joe, thanks for another useful post. What is the purpose of adding Lysine in the manufacturing process? The only real thing I know is that it is an amino acid. Any other search was fruitless.
