I don't think strategy would do well soaking. I add ACV to my horses feed and when I was feeding strategy even just the 1/4 cup of liquid added directly before feeding made the pellets fall apart and become dust. I think you'd be best off adding your supps then mixing with a small amount of liquid or applesauce to get it to stick right before feeding.

We've got a walmart down here in TX about 20 miles from me that sells horse tack, feed, supplements, gates, water troughs, fencing - you name it - kind of like a Tractor Supply and Walmart mixed together - so I guess you could pick up some groceries, a little horse feed and some oil for the chainsaw all in the same place if you needed to!

You can soak any feed if you need to for that individual animal.

I would find a quality feed. Strategy is crap IMO. Also has a high NSC content and Purina (as well as Nutrena) have low cost formulas.
