    I have a horse with EMS and I give her horse cookies that I buy from Blue Seal or Tractor Supply and never had a problem with them, its not like you're going to feed a whole bag at a time so not likely to hurt
    You could try carrots cut into strips too - as long as you're not feeding large amounts you should be OK
