  • When hay is freshly chaffed and served to horses in troughs they will eat the lot, not just the nice leafy bits but also the stalky bits. Hence, none is wasted and the horses benefit from the extra roughage.
  • When you chaff your hay you can mix supplements in while chaffing and you create the mix that you feel is best for your horse.
  • By chaffing your hay you can save a lot of money by not having to buy from the chaffing mill. Often the cost of bought chaff is twice the price of the same weight of hay.
I have two models of chaff cutters that I import to Australia. They are priced to suit horse owners, pony clubs, horse trainers, etc. Find out more by contacting me by email karl@wiltisheep.com.au or phone 02 6373 7793
