My TBS did great on cool calories.
It works excellent for putting weight on hard keepers and it seemed to me to be cheaper than oil.

I just switched to this two days ago. I used to use corn oil and thought I would try this. I am having a hard time trying to figure out which is cheaper. The oil or the CC. I bought a 20 lb bag so will use it up and decide.
Oh and smells so yummy!

My preference is Senior's which contains beet pulp, extra oils, probiotics. Mine is from Feed Rite. A horse doesn't have to be a senior to benefit from this, generall recommended for 5 and older. With an old horse this can make up his entire diet. I barely moisten and feed it immediately. With Feed Rite, a 2lb marg tub holds 2 lbs of Seniors when level. With Purina it has to be heaping to weigh 2 lbs.

I mix the cc in with beet pulp (6 cups dry then moistened) and a large scoop of purina Ultium. All good for adding weight. Never tried the senior, the ultium seemed to have more fat.
