I loved feedxl because it helped me figure out pros verses cons of what I was feeding and what I wanted to feed. My hubby is against the forage diet because it takes longer to prepare and doesnt look "tasty" like sweet feed. But I tried playing around on there and "balancing" some of horses diets using good quality fortified feeds and nothing would come out close. They lack "this and that" and so on and no matter how much feed I added it just didnt work out without having to add more supplements, higher amounts of protien or something. Feedxl is really neat and its a lot of fun. I am a very visual person and if I can't see something or put my hands on it to me it doesnt exist because I can't grasp the concept but will all the graphs on feedxl it really made it worth it.

Good luck with feedxl and have fun!!!! I absolutely loved playing around with different feeds and whatnot to see what works best. Sometimes its shocking.
