I use all those feeds because my horse needs to gain weight... and i've only just started feeding lucerne again. Thankyou for telling me that lucerne has calcium! Now I know that I don't need to feed eggs to her as I am currently investing in some flax seed. I really do hope that she improves before I go back to ponyclub... it's embarrassing walking around with a poor looking horse because of some of the things they might think about you.

If calcium and condition are your concern, you might want to take a peak at calf manna. I really like it for youngsters, but it will help put weight on anything and has calcium --- and smells yummy. You don't feed a lot of it at one time, so it is pretty economical.
