Does Any Rescue need some Pentosan Gold?

I recently purchased this and decided not to use it. I've read that larger doses of Glucosamine could possibly cause problems in a horse who has had laminitis before, and I'm afraid to take any chances. He has been on Corta-Flx and has done Ok with that and BL Solution, so I'll probably just keep him on those and not try any injections. Adequan did not help him at all last year and that's why my vet suggested the Pentosan. I just ordered the wrong Pentosan and likely can't return it. Rather than keeping it around, I wanted to see if a needy horse rescue could use it.

What a nice offer! Not sure where you are located, but check out "Gerda's Animal Aid" on Facebook (we can't post direct links to Facebook on the Forum, but if you go to FB and search for them, you'll find them). They are located in Southern Vermont, and often need medical supplies for their rescues. (I'm not formally affiliated with them, but they're in my area and I follow them on FB).

Pentosan is a wonderful product that we carry in stock in a variety of sizes. We have 6mL, 50mL, and Pentosan Gold which has Glucosamine included. A good course of action is a 6ml dose once a week for 6 weeks to fully load the Pentosan. Thereafter you can use 6ml monthly or bi-weekly. Some owners use bi-weekly as they seem to feel it doesn’t allow for any soreness or stiffness. You can compete while using Pentosan. If conditions require you can also use Glucosamine or Joint Motion X in conjunction with Pentosan. Together these products will greatly reduce the pain and inflammation in your horse. If you have any further or more detailed questions please let us know.

DaysofThunder - your company - horseprerace.com - is where I ordered this from. I asked if I could return it in exchange for the regular Pentosan, and never received a reply. Also, there is no phone# listed anywhere on your website or I would have called. As it stands, I am very disappointed with your customer service !

I still have this available (and still have received no reply from horseprerace.com). I thought this was a reputable company, but now I have to wonder about them - which may explain why someone hasn't expressed an interest in this product. I check my private messages, so please contact me there if you had rather not post publicy. I would be interested to know your opinions about this company and their products. I'm new to this forum and have read several posts about Pentosan, but only a few people referenced buying it from horseprerace.com
