Strategy, Ultium, or Equine Senior.
My horse is 14 years old, and I ride about three times a week right now, but I am hoping to ride five times a week next semester. My rides are usually fairly moderate excretion for him, although sometimes I ride a little harder on Saturdays when I have more time to devote to cooling him off. I imagine he is to young for the senior feed, so that leaves me with either Strategy or Ultium. I thought Ultium would be to much for his excersize level but a friend of mine at the barn says she feeds Ultium with no weight gain or energy problems and she has ridden once in the last nine weeks. The barn is averaging the price of the various feeds, so I would be getting more for my money by feeding the Utium, but I am not sure. I don't know a lot about nutrition so I thought I would ask for some advice.
