Feed for entire barn?

So I just got a job managing a farm. It's kind of a long story, but family friends of mine bought this huge facility and want me to run it. There are 44 stalls.

We hope to start boarding in July and so I need to get serious about picking a feed. Here are the requirements:

-First and foremost, it has to be avalible in bulk. Luckily, there is a place close that delivers a lot of Purina and Tribute feeds
-I don't want sweet feed. No matter what
-With the facility being so nice and board being a little bit expensive, I expect to attract more performance horses than backyard ones. I am sure there will be both, but if I had to guess I would lean more towards the performance side
-The owners will bale all of their own hay and the barn will get the best quality stuff. They have a ton of land and a lot of it varies, but it should be mostly timothy with some grass or alfalfa

I have had a lot of people suggest Tribute Kalm n Ez, but heard that is it an over-priced generic feed that is outrageously high in iron (not good for our area). So that kind of turned me away from it...

I currently feed Purina Health Edge and LOVE it. But, I have an older, easy keeper in light work. Not sure that it would be great for the high performance horses in our area. Therefore, my plan now is to go with strategy.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

I know strategy is a 14% feed. Can someone tell me the advantages/disadvantages of feeding a 14% feed compared to 12%? Hope that isn't too silly of a question...

Isn't nutrena by Cargill? I have been to their feed mill, but it's about 3 hours away, so too far to get it from them in bulk. I googled dealers that are close to me but there is only tractor supply and a carry out place. Doubt I could get it delivered in bulk :(

Oh I am very aware of that. Which is why I am having so much trouble deciding. But we have to offer a "barn grain" that will be the standard if people don't want to bring their own. So I am forced to pick one that will be best for the variety of horses.

Why can't you offer multiple types of grain?

When I was managing a barn, I offered 6 different types of grain (Pennfield Signature 10, Pennfield Signature Plus, Pennfield Senior, Purina Senior, Cool n Lite, All Phase). Offering one type of grain would not have worked at all. Up to 6 pounds per feeding was included in their board. It was a 40 horse facility.

Because there is a 3 ton bulk tank on the property that the owners want to use to be able to get the best deal.

Going with something like Strategy is probably a safe choice. What do similar barns in your area offer? Feeds can be very regional in preference so it's best to offer whatever is commonly fed and liked in your area by the type of riders and horses you want to attract. Because you live in a very humid area, I would stick with a pelleted type feed that is lower in moisture and won't mold as easily. Only buy enough for a 2-3 week period max in the summer. Most feed companies only require a one ton minimum for bulk feed. Look into your local feed mill and see what they can blend for you. It will be less expensive than the national feeds (mine comes in around $17/100) and you're supporting local farmers. If they have the equipment, they can easily duplicate whatever national brand you want. Feeding a 14% feed instead of a 12% (same manufacture, and similar type of feed) is not going to make a huge difference in the diet. The 14% will be a higher quality protein but by the time you add in the 20#s of 10% hay, you'll never notice a difference.

I don't know all the specifics in what horses need nutritionally, but we have 60ish horses in our barn, 55 are doing great on strategy, and only about 5 need omalene. High performance Arabian horses
