    I second not going with Safe choice and instead moving to Triple Crown Senior and alfalfa pellets.

    Once she begins to work, she may start to drop weight so keeping the calories coming will do her good. I've had to rehab Sky and while his weight was fine sitting around, it wound drop durastically when he had any sort of work.

    Does she have access to some loose salt?
