gelatin for horses

howdy

So just wanted ppl oponion on this,

Feeding gelatin to horses, it says to help improve hoofs and tail and mane growth....

My horse's hooves arent the best, but they arent super bad either and I would love for his tail to grow more I put MTJ on it which is helping, but I fiqguered maybe try putting gelatin in his feed. Any thoghts on this??

Also how much would I put in his feed?

Thanks

I wouldn't use gelatin as a hoof supplement, I would use a biotin supplement. Biotin has had a lot more research backing it up, and it is probably easier to find.
