    I agree w/Verona about the syringe. You can mix the suppliments with applesauce and "paste" him and then you will know he's getting what he needs. Then you can just put the rest of the stuff he likes in the pail and he can go about eating what he likes. I bought a plastic syringe tube at TSC and just put it in the dishwasher at night when I need to use it.

    Try putting his usual grain in with beet pulp or bran mash and some carrots / apples treats or just put somthin sweet and some water
