Green Feed

We recently realized that we are not going to be able to quite make it till when we need with the hay we have for our two geldings. So I posted an ad on Kijiji looking for hay. I had a gentleman email me this "I have excellent small oat greenfeed bales. Have sold 350 so far -------all to horse owners. This greenfeed was not fertilized or sprayed and the buyers are using for feeding bred mares. Have about 45 left unsold. 3.50/bale"

Can someone please tell me about this oat greenfeed? Will this be something of good nutritional value for my horses? We were looking for an extra months worth of feed. I am very interested in peoples opinions.

Thanks,
Debbie
