Question Grr.. Feed Options.

Currently, Cerra (+3 boarders) has a pasture every other day, plus unlimited hay/water supply. Since she's a yearling, I'd like to balance out her diet with a small supplement, to optimize her overall growth. :)

All I can get in town is Front Runner Phase I - Foal and Front Runner Phase II - Pregnant Mares and Yearlings. I prefer the latter option, as it's a little more ratioed out for her growth. Called the local supplier today, because I inquired about it in the last two weeks, and they have nothing.

"Do you know when your next shipment might be?"
"Nope. We ordered it, didn't get it, the supplier's out."
"Oh. Do you know where else I could acquire it?"

And he names off a few places.. it's a minimal 30 minute drive in the opposite direction of the stables, no guarantee that they have any either! So then I was researching, in hopes of any other suppliers/feeds semi-local.. (preferably Winnipeg! Roadtrip! LOL!) or if I could even find a pet store and order through them.

Stumbled across this Purina Evolution Juvenile. Nutritionally, it's a steal compared to Front Runner in terms of Fiber (almost double). There's no suppliers in Manitoba.

Does anyone use either of these products (Purina Evolution and Front Runner)? Are you satisfied with the results? Are there any other options for being in the Prairies?! This minimal selection is ******ed..
(Schedules ANOTHER visit to friends in Ontario, side-motive being feed! LOL)
