We use AniMed brand MSM for my 20 year old... It really helps with her arthritis and is less expensive than combo joint solutions. I have never tried the Smartpak though, but it seems to be very high quality.

Yep! It's awesome for joints. MSM has worked great for our horses AND for ME! My cp suggested I use it for my own arthritis and it has really helped me personally so I know the positive effects first hand. One note, some people are sensitive to sulfur, so be careful handling it if you are one of those. :)

MSM is known to reduce inflammation as well as supporting the joints, so I would think that it would help him move more comfortably. I honestly wish that we had started my mare on it much sooner.

Hmm.. I wonder if I should take some MSM? I have scoliosis (curved spine) and I need all of the help I can get... :P
