Has anyone used SmartPak?

I have decided I need to put my horse on joint supplements. I get these SmartPak catalogs in the mail and it seems like it would be a really convenient way to get my supplements, and they have a big selection. I also think the phone consultation they offer would be really helpful for me to pick the proper supplements for my horse. Have any of you used this company? Did you have a good experience?

Help me horse forum! You're my only hope!

I shop there quite often. I get a monthly delivery of quiessence for my wicked mare. They send a reminder of your order each month and give you the oppurtunity to cancel it a few days before they process and ship/charge. I like them. Have no complaints.

They are awesome... really convenient and great customer service... their brands seem to be just as good as the "name brand" supplements too!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE smartpak! They also have flat rate shipping so I can order anything the horses need and have it shipped with their supplements for no extra charge :)

Smartpak does have great customer service and have never had problems with them as far as supplements goes... I did have an issue with my custom mugs. :o(

I have my 15 arab gelding on smartflex senior. I would prefer it came in a pellet but oh well. If the supplement your thinking of is more than $40 I would go with injectible adequan.. It's FDA approved and regulated as supplements really are not. It's also way more convenient.

Have you told them that?
The supplement I use (Easy Keeper Grass) used to only come in powder form. Enough people commented they now make it in pellet.

Another vote for Smartpak's customer service. I just ordered some Mare Magic for the first time, had never ordered from them before at all. I got error messages while trying to order on line and used their e-mail support. They responded promptly, followed up with me, gave me a phone number AND PERSON'S NAME to call, apologized for the inconvenience, and placed my order while remembering to include a special discount I was eligible for. And the product arrived 2 days later, exactly as advertised. I was also impressed by their "magazine" about the use of all their different supplements. I know it's really just an advertising supplement, but it had a lot of good information in it.

I have not used them yet but I love the magazine they send out. I am going to be switching over my supplements to Smartpak brands once I run out of the supplements I have now :) I have heard nothing but good about them.

I use SmartPak for both of my horses and I love them. Both my horses have multiple supplements and it's nice having it all there. It's also really nice if you have to travel for shows, since you only have to take a few packets.

I will say that if you want a cheaper alternative you can buy the supplements and then make up your own in little containers. Although, then you don't get them conveniently sent to you each month.
