Post Herbs for Horses

My horse has no special needs but I would like to start adding herbs to her diet to make it more nutritious. If you know anything about which herbs work well for horses it would be much appreciated!! (I have tried looking online but im not finding alot of sites.) Thanks!

Herbs for Horses

Hi there
Some really helpful herbs to feed for general maintenance would be rosehips which are high in vitamin c and good for hooves, kelp contains all the wonderful nutrients and minerals so good for skin and coat, nettle is a lovely spring tonic which is high in iron and great for circulation. Mint will help with digestion and garlic is a natural antibiotic.
I personally find there is a real pleasure in feeding animals these wonderful nutritious treats and knowing there are no nasty chemicals as well.

Green Broke
Yeh I think my crazy spook prone horse could benifit from smoking a few herbs, I'll get him a rasta man hat and put dreads in his mane.
