How do you soak your hay?
Forgive me if this has already been discussed.
How many of you soak your horse's hay to reduce the sugar content?
How long do you soak it for?
How do you soak it?
Thanks
Carrie

Put the hay in a regular hay bag. Fill a garbage can 1/2 full of water and dunk the hay in the water. As little as 30 mins will reduce the sugars. Dump the water every day or so as it will start to ferment with a little bit of heat.
