How much dry shredded beet pulp in a pound?

About how much dry shredded beet pulp is in a pound? I know its best to weigh food but don't have a scale right now. I was just looking for an estimate. If I had to guess I'd say 2 quarts would be a pound.

Do not know but do you have something that you know is a pound?

Carry that out to the barn and estimate that way.

If you can, just put some in a bag and drive to your local grocery store and stick it on the produce scale.

Hmmm, I wonder if the post office would weigh it for you?

I bought a fishing scale at Walmart for $5. It has really helped get Dancer's feed adjusted correctly. What a difference!

A scale would definitely be a good idea.
