Looking for an inexpensive but helpful joint supplement!

Hi,
I'm looking for a joint supplement that is more helpful than just MSM. My problem is that I really cannot spend a lot of money on anything.
Is there anything inexpensive that works?
Is feeding a joint supplement [other than cosequin, which is proven but I can't afford] a waste of money?
My horse is a 10 yr old TB, moderate work. He is pretty stiff through his hind, I put him on MSM which actually has helped him but my instructor wants me to try something that has a bit more support, she suggested Animed GL - has anyone had success with that? Or maybe Corta flex?
Thanks.

I am in love with for-a-flex joint. Our oldest horse is 23 yo Welsh mix. His poor joints pop and crack and all he can do is walk. Our pasture is very hilly and was having a very difficult time. I started him on for-a-flex joint and within a month her was galloping around the pasture with the other horses and back to being lightly riden. I had never heard of anyone using this before but it did him wonders. Just go to Horse Supplies, Dewormers, Equine Supplements & Tack - Horse.com click on supplements then go to joint supplements. Is $59 for a 64 day supply and well worth for our guy.

10 y/o is pretty young to already be having joint issues. Is he an OTTB? If not, do you know any other reason why he might be having issues?

Technyflex is AMAZING. Love it. It's not the cheapest but its affordable.
On it prins perfectly sound. Canter 10 m circles jump gallop cold all perfect with no issues after. Without it she struggles to trot a 20m circle.
