Mare Magic

I've been taking care of a horse for someone and she's the definition of why people think mares are terrible. She's so sweet and will cuddle with you but the second the tack comes out she no longer wants to cuddle. She also hates other horses. Her saddle fit has been checked out by a professional, she gets regular chiropractic adjustments and massages, etc. she's just marish. People have suggested I put her on Mare Magic. I think it's by smartpacks but I'm not sure. Has anyone seen a big difference in their mares on this supplement? Would you suggest it for her?

Are you talking about MY mare? LOL I have that mare! We have used mare magic and quiescence on her. I do get it from smarpak but you can get it at the local feed store or even your tack shop. I feel like I got more out of the mare magic then the other. My vet suggested a stainless steel marble in her uterus. I have actually considered it. She was an awesome ride when she was pregNant but you can't keep them pregnant all the time. Mare magic is fairly cheap. It's worth a try.

I used Mare Magic with my old Paint Clydesdale gelding. He constantly bit when he didn't get attention. It calmed him down a lot, I highly reccomend trying it.

Mare Magic is just raspberry leaves- I just ordered 3 pounds of the leaves loose from an online herbal shop much cheaper. I'm mixing it with paprika to make my own supplement to make my difficult, fading black, mare both be nice and stay black. :)
