I'll second the ration balancer. I've been very happy with the switch to a rb. I'd fed strategy gx, switched to triple crown's ration balancer but had to switch again because the dealer was horrible about keeping it in (even if I called 2 weeks ahead to order by the pallet) and now feed Progressive's ProAdvantage and love it. Horses look great and doesn't take much at all. It's a bit pricey when you look at bag cost but per day costs are lower.

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

I actually talked to the farm store yesterday. I think I may switch to Empower balance. They are getting more and going to carry complete. What are the concerns with switching to a RB?

If you have hard keepers you might need a bit more than a balancer. I only have one that gets something different, he's a hard keeper at 31 and only has a few teeth left so he gets a mash. RB is pretty concentrated, when I switched we started with a 1/4 lb and worked up in 1/4 lb increments over a few weeks.
