starline-

Yeah you are pretty close...within about 30 miles I think!

What is the purpose of the ration balancer?

What she is getting as of today:

-11lbs alfalfa pellets
-1 cup ground flax
-SmartVite Maintenence Alfalfa Pellets
-SmartFlex Joint Supplement
-1tbsp of paprika (just for fun to see if it works)

She seems to be doing very well on this so far and has definitely gained some weight already.

the ration balancer is designed to balance your hay type so you own't need the smart vit maintence and it had more of just about everything plus has added amino acid profile

check the label against the smart vits and decide both will work the ration balancer is just a few more calories

what is the serving size on the smart vit?

there's a big difference of 1.5% of 1lb compared to say 2 ozs :)

I will do the math after I feed to compare them

you might email Kent the list of nutritients off of the smart vit I know I got all that info off of the 32 that way.... I emailed them what I wanted to know and they filled in the numbers and emailed it back to me LOL

you want to convert all % to grams per serving :) so I have to wake my brain up to do that LOL

I have to feed and rough groom four horses then I will work on it for you... I have been meaning to do it anyway and just hadn't gotten to it so no biggie just takes a bit check back tonight
