Buffering stomach acide and then feeding a "sweat meal" is totally pointless. If the horse has ulcers, he needs put on a low NSC diet and he needs treated for ulcers so that they heal. Then, he needs to STAY on a low NSC diet as to prevent the ulcers from coming back.
Treating or trying to "help" the ulcers is completely pointless if you're feeding him "sweet meals" aka high NSC diet.
