Which new RB to use????

When I first got my horses 9 years ago I was told by our Vet to feed Buckeye Gro-N-Win. It seemed to work very well until all the feed stores around stopped carrying it. Then the Vet told me to start using Purina Enrich 32. Okay, that was fine until a couple of weeks ago when Hubby comes home and says that TS no longer carries it. I went to a different TS near where I work and they told me the same thing. They were out and would not be getting anymore.
At the time the only thing that I could find that sounded like a RB was Nutrena Empower Balance. That bag is getting low so I need to make a choice and fast...Also I just called TS as I had some concerns about the Nutrena Empower Balance. To me it just smells to darn good to be a RB. Anyway the girl at our local store says that they still carry the Purina Enrich, it is just combined now ( I guess the 32 & the 12) and they will continue with Nutrena. I asked her which was best and she said the Purina Enrich. Now I dont know what to do. My horses LOVE the Nutrena but they have only been on it about a week so I have no idea if it will be good for them or not. I have 3 very easy keepers, 16yr old QH, 8 yr old Halflinger, and a standard donkey. I also have a TW mare. I dont know that she is an easy keeper but she makes sure she gets enough food. They have grass pasture and coastal hay.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about it smelling too good to be a ration balancer, the guaranteed analysis is what you should be considering

Are Purina and Nutrena the only brands you're able to find now? As a brand, I prefer Nutrena, although the new Purina Enrich Plus does look better than their old Enrich 32. Part of it is that they're now including more information in the guaranteed analysis (including sugar and starch!) and it doesn't look significantly different than Empower Balance.

If you can find Triple Crown 30% Supplement in your area, I highly recommend it.

Verona, Thank you so much for your reply and advice. The only options in my area are either the Empower balance or the Enrich. Unfortunately I have no idea how to determine by the analysis which would be better for my horses. I guess since both the girl at TS and you say that the Enrich is likely better I will go with that. I need to go ahead and get a bag today so I can start changing them over again. Sure hope they are not going to be to disappointed going back to the Enrich. They have really enjoyed the Nutrena. It smells so good they think it is a treat. Of course they think any grain is a treat since they have only had RB's since I have owned them. Thanks again for your recommendation and if you have any other suggestions I would welcome them. I have to get them started on the change over this pm so will have to make a decision today.
