Opinions on Seabuck supplement

I have recently heard of Seabuck Complete, but have been unable to find enough info on it to convince me to spend $80/ gallon. I know of one family who uses it on their old mare who is a hard keeper and swears by it, but can't find much else in terms of reviews.
I would like to use it on my 10yo gelding. He is in training and can get quite anxious. I am curious as to the calming properties of it, and whether anyone has experience with it.
If the product has enough fans, and I do end up trying it I have three others I am interested in trying it on. Two are retirees, one of which can be a hard keeper, and a mare with ringbone and arthritis. The other is a tb who needs weight put on and who cribs.
Any comments, experience, and thoughts of the products are appreciated! Thanks!

Interesting! This is the first I've heard of the product.

If what's in the bucket is in its pure form it is actually Sea Buckthorn --- never heard of that either, so I looked it up.

This link is a .edu link so the information should be credible.

Sea Buckthorn: New Crop Opportunity

Would I try it at $77/bucket? Not as long as I have other things that work as well or better. That's a whole bunch of money if the product turns out to be Snakeoil for horses.:-|

I'm not saying it is Snakeoil but that's an awful lot of money for such a small amount of product --- it should sing while it's going into the horse's feed pan:?
