As a Retired Equine Specialist, I am honored to be able to share my thoughts on this forum. First, there is no such thing as one size fits all. No one nutritional profile meets the needs and requirements of all horses. I could go on for days about this issue, but feeding an easy keeping 1200 lbs Walking Horse and a hard keeping 1200 lbs TB with both doing similar work, it is impossible to meet their needs with the same nutritional profile and amount of feed, PERIOD. I am retired, but I am willing to help horse folks if you need some help.
