Purina Ultium input?

I have tried about every feed under that sun that you can get in my area...

I just got a bag of Ultium Growth by purina for my weanling, and my 3yr old. They seem to love it. I have only had them on it for a few days, so not sure how it works yet. I plan to do some local halter next spring.

Anyone use it? Is it worth the money?

I feed it to my 3 1/2 month old foal and he really likes it as well. My foal is still nursing, so only give him about 1 lb. A day.

It IS very expensive, and the only reason I bought it is because I got a coupon for it. But since I am only feeding it to the baby and he isn't eating that much of it yet, I think I will keep buying it for him.

I loved it for my mare! It helped her gain and keep weight and was better than all the other feeds in the results it gave me.

Just be careful though, some horses can get high-strung from it. It's like rocket fuel!

Lol thanks. Hopefully my colt doesn't try to fly while I ride him.

I have had really good luck with pennfield grains... but im not sure if they sell them in your area... otherwise I like the purina grains...
