What does everyone think of this supplement?

Depends on the reasoning.

I gave it to a mare I have that was very anemic. It helped her.

I have friends that give it to their horses during racing season to enhance performance. Does it make a difference? I honestly don't know...

Most horse foods and forage in the Uk are high in iron so supplementing is usually not required and too much iron will prevent the absorbtion of other minerals such as copper and magnesium (which are vital for good health)

I'd never give Red Cell 'just because'. If you have an anemic horse, it can help.

It's neither 'good' nor 'bad', but it might be necessary if you have an anemic horse.

What is your need for it? My mare has been on it for about a month now because she was severly anemic. It's not really ment as a normal supplement to regularly give your horse. Once my one container of it is gone my mare will be off of it. It works wonders if your horse actually needs it.

I am not saying I am giving it to any of my horses, because I am not. I just know a few people who swear by it and I just want to hear what the horse world thinks about it.
