Hahaha not wasting away is right! Someone wants to pretend she's a QH and it's not me.... Haha
I was just looking at pictures from last year and I don't even know, like I'm embarrassed that she looked like that and kind of irked that people didn't say anything. But, maybe they just figured it was her age.... But does this look normal:
I feel so bad that she was like that. Gosh darn. At least she's making up for it now!
Weight wise, I think I prefer her in this picture then the first - she could probably stand to gain a little bit (if any), but I think it's the lack of muscle that's making her look worse than she was.
In the first picture you showed, she could definitely stand to lose some pounds - nothing drastic, but she'd definitely be on a bit of a diet if she were here! Then again, I'm the type of person who, if given a choice, would rather keep a horse a little bit on the thin side then vice versa.
She's beautiful, though! In regards to the alfalfa; is there a way to make it so she can't get access to the llamas hay? Fence off an area where she can't get to it? Or maybe investing in a muzzle? But I guess that wouldn't really solve much because she'd still chase the llamas away... little hoarder!
